Like it really has to be perfect. Always straightening out every curl and what not. Hands always up near your hair and all that. I find it irritating. I don’t know why, but I do.
Look.. Your hair doesn’t have to be perfect. And even if you keep fixing it, it’ll still somehow be messy. Chances of me noticing the messy-ness is pretty slim. Just stop messing with your hair, because it’s distracting when I’m just tryna talk to you. It’s nice the way it is.

LOL, it’s funny cuz my guy best friends mess with their hair more than I do. But I only do to get the hair out of my peyce. My boys needa quit itt! Haha, takin an hour on stylin their hair :)

Today I actually completely LOST it. I couldn’t hide it anymore or fake it. I was talking to my parents of how I wanted to go to Loma Linda University for College. Parents again started lecturing me of how I was a disgrace, that I was a disappointment, that they wished I was more like my brother…

And no matter what you’re parents say…however many good or bad grades you get…know that quality is better than quantity. The results don’t depend on a silly piece of paper marked with your grade average - they depend on the knowledge you have obtained.
Haha, it wasn’t my grades though. It’s just that they have high expectations from me that I can’t fulfill no matter how much I want to please them. They have had this plan for me since the day I was born. I can’t live my life the way I want to and it’s actually getting to me. & the fact that I only see them once a week and never head the words “I love you” from them is actually getting to me.
But it’s all good. Haha and no problem Nikki, I’m glad someone enjoyed reading this post. :)
Ahh, I see. I’m sorry I didn’t catch that :O. Great expectations. I kind of dislike the work ‘expectations’. Just cuz I’ve had to deal with all that and live up to the potential my brother has. But yes, God brought me to that low point to help me realize that He’s been there the whole way through and there’s no thing that can ever put Him at a distance from you. Even disappointment. No matter what we do, He’s there.
